Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson

I just got word today that a new cast member was going to join the already star-studded actors in the next sequel to Ironman.  Scarlett Johansson.  I’m not sure what her role will be, the article on EOnline did’nt say what type of role she’ll be playing.

I kinda like the idea of SJ on Ironman.  It will give Paltrow a little competition for the sexiest star of the show.
But Pepper will always be my personal fav. 🙂

My Christmas Gift

Palm Treo 755p
Palm Treo 755p

The phone that can do it all, the palm treo 755p.  This is my first Palm phone, and so far I’m quite pleased with all the features and ease of use.  there are tons of apps for free that are both useful and productive and can easily be downloaded off the internet.

The one thing I am dissappointed in is there is no “uninstall” feature for any apps, so I’m unsure about how much useless files are taking up space.
The camera takes awesome pictures and videos, and the keypad makes sms messages easy.
Overall I like the phone quite well, and when the time comes for me to upgrade again, i’ll probably be looking into another Palm.

I hate mondays…

Night falls on us again, as it has many times before.  I usually hate nighttime, but tonight is different.  I’m not sure why, but I “feel” a little better about life tonight than normal.  Most other times, I’m saddened by the fact that life is always giving me lemons (If not me, then someone is getting lemons and that’s not good either).  Tonight, I can’t explain why, but it’s not as sour as before.

The news tonight was filled with sour lemons, the economy is crashing, the troops are still fighting a war that can’t be won, some one out there is having an unsually bad day.

But I still feel like pressing on, and I can’t explain that to myself anymore.

Does this feeling even need/deserve an explanation.

Drama

It seems as though, no matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to keep from seeing drama unfold around me.  I simply just can’t walk down the street anymore to the local grocery store without seeing some drama unfold.  It literally makes me sick to my stomache to see the way people are acting these days.

I wish it was 1980 again.  at least the drama back then was hidden from plain sight.

Mother Nature

I can’t help but falling in love with this time of year.  It’s just a wonderful time to watch nature change into it’s “other” self once again.

I suppose mother nature is just like any other women, has to change something to satisfy itself or it will go insane.

Storm surges toward us

Here we are again.  Almost to the day, a new storm system brews south and heads our way.  I keep remembering back when I was a child, sitting on the window-sill of my bedroom window, amazed by how violent the storms, lightening and such were.  I could sit and fall asleep to a passing thunderstorm.  I remember the smell of the wet, humid air.

It was all sort of calming, in it’s own way.

The storms that approach us nowadays, are neither calming nor something to look forward to.  I hope and pray that this one does not do near the damage that Katrina did.  Good luck to the people in New Orleans and the surrounding areas, my prayers are with you.

Okay, I can see the though process with Mac’s commercials but i don’t think I can understand why Microsoft wants a comedian like Jerry Seinfeld trying to sell the new Vista.

Don’t get me wrong, Jerry is a very funny guy, I always enjoy watching his works, but I don’t think that I’m going to run out and buy Vista just because it’s funny.

I went and saw the Dark Knight last night.  Not sure what possesed me to do so, seeing as how I was not that hyped up about it.  I’m not a very big Batman fan.

The plot was good and the actors were even better than the last couple of batmans…but there was just something about Batmans Voice…. I can’t quite put my finger on it… but it sounded to me like cat claws on a chalkboard.  just irratating most of the time.

Other than that, I enjoyed the movie.

Merder the supporter

Our little guild has grown by leaps and bounds the past several weeks, thanks to the efforts of several hard working members (special thanks to Sinfulslayer for the little incentive program he developed) apparently…it’s working 🙂

Well I’m still working on my Druid, mainly, but Sin took me around yesterday and showed me all the dallies, we spent about 4 hrs on them and made roughly 200 gold.  I think it was well worth it, and all the ones on the Isle are easier than I figured they would be.  I don’t see any problem in solo’ing those.

I think i’ll probably start doing some dallies on occassion cause I am using Merder right now to support all my alt’s. (poor guy, paying child support even on the online world)

This movie was talked about ALOT.  Tabitha and I decided to watch it and we enjoyed it, but walked out of the theatre scratching our heads in an attempt to figure out just where they came up with the storyline.  I won’t give it away, but were do they come up with this stuff?

The Incredible Hulk.  I think the only thing I can say is that it was a dissappointment.  I enjoyed the first one much better than this one.

This one we liked.  It had an enormouse amount of action (except for the very last fight scene, which was kinda lame).  I really like the storyline and wish they would come out with a third to appease us with.
